First step is call our office manager, Jeanine, to schedule an initial consultation.
Plan on about one hour for this. We value listening and understanding your story.
If Dr. Schalow thinks you may be a candidate for care, we will perform a thorough examination that involves chiropractic, medical orthopedic and neurologic tests. The goal here is not only to see what is going on with the joints, the nerves and the muscles, but also to establish the underlying cause.
If you are a candidate for upper cervical care, and only if you decide to undergo care, we take precise, very low dose radiographs to determine how to bring balance back to your spine.
After a detailed analysis of the films, you will return at your next visit for a report of findings and your first adjustment.
Post adjustment radiographs are taken only after the first adjustment. At that point, Dr. Schalow will give his recommendations for a treatment plan that is tailored to your condition.
